The Stone Wheels live in a place called "The mid-60s".  It can be found right between Beatlemania and Psychedelia.  And though the streets are jammed with garages, one after another, the ground there is fertile, and the inspiration flows.  There is an attitude that anything is possible, and even in failure, there is to some degree, succsess.  It's a special place, and what makes it special is the music.  Music that never dies, but lives on as each generation discovers the roots of the music they love, and call their own.
